Travelling to the Campus
Set in beautiful countryside, the Scottish Borders Campus is based in Netherdale, Galashiels, just 38 miles south of Edinburgh, right at the very heart of the Borders.
By CarGalashiels is on the A7, one hour’s drive south of Edinburgh.
By TrainAlthough the region has no railway stations of its own, the London to Edinburgh East Coast railway passes through the area stopping at Berwick-Upon-Tweed and the West Coast line at Carlisle. Rail link buses connect to Galashiels and the journey takes just over an hour.
By Bus
There are several bus stops located within a short walking distance of the Campus. First Edinburgh links all the major towns within the Borders as well as the Borders and Edinburgh. Further information is available at:
