As part of the College’s progress towards establishing a Renewables Centre of excellence at the Hawick Campus, lecturers Iain Scott and Tom Ramage ran a ‘Renewables Awareness Training’ session for College staff who will be involved with the project.

The highly successful afternoon made staff aware of the various potential training products that the College may be able to offer training and advice on in the future.

Staff also found the course enlightening on a personal level with new knowledge on the range of renewable products and actions that can be taken to reduce their own carbon footprint.
