Positive Paths for Young Carers
BC Consultants recently hosted a valuable week- long event entitled Positive Paths for a group of local young carers.
The training programme held at Scottish Borders Campus in Galashiels, included Emergency First Aid, Food Hygiene and Nutrition, Stress Awareness, Motivation and Confidence Building, CV and Interview Techniques, Networking and Finding Help.
Each of the five participants successfully completed the course, which was organised in conjunction with the Princess Royal Trust Borders Carers Centre, and were presented with their certificates by Borders College Principal Liz McIntyre.
